Zaimo Foundation supports water infrastructure from the first geological assessment to the moment safe water reaches a village tap or school drinking station.
The Foundation's WASH work includes hydro-geological surveys, deep borehole drilling, sweet-water aquifer identification, pumping, storage, distribution and sanitation renovation.

Reference SHL-PO-2025-ZMF-TZA-TZA-001. Developed in strategic partnership with MAA International, this flagship initiative provides permanent, dignified brick-and-mortar homes for vulnerable families across rural Tanga. In 2025, Zaimo Foundation is also managing the finishing phase in the construction of a residential house for a Madrasa teacher in Tibirinzi, Chake Chake, Pemba, Tanzania.

Distributed 2,000 customized, high-nutrition food packs (5kg Rice, 5kg Sugar, 3L Oil, 6kg Beans, 5kg Maize Flour, 5kg Wheat Flour) to 10,000 individuals across North/South Matemwe, Jugakuu, and Kigomani, verified using PowerApps digital tracking.
Charity Distribution Project (Safi Food Supplies)
Organized distribution of essential food supplies, specifically Safi brand products, directly to individuals and vulnerable households within the community.
Sadaqah Food Hampers Distribution
Project ZF-2025-007. Essential household dry-food packages distributed directly to widows, orphans, and vulnerable families across rural Tanga wards.
Al-Imdaad Hot Iftaar Campaign
Prepared daily hot meals for low-income households, orphans, and elderly people across urban Tanga City, commended by Mnyanjani Local Government.

Healthcare, Medical Camps & Mwanahamisi’s Story
Bringing essential medical diagnostics, ophthalmology, clinical exams, individual patient treatment sponsorship, and free prescription medicine directly to underserved families.
In partnership with international medical donors including MAA International Australia and clinical partners such as Al Hayat Polyclinic, Zaimo Foundation delivers both high-volume mobile medical camps and life-changing individual medical interventions.

For 13-year-old Mwanahamisi and her family, accessing healthcare had become a difficult journey while living with rheumatic heart disease. Financial challenges made obtaining the care she needed increasingly difficult. After seeking assistance, Mwanahamisi received support from Zaimo Foundation, which helped cover the cost of her medical care at Al Hayat Polyclinic—easing the family’s financial burden and enabling medical management for her condition.
MAA Access to Care Zanzibar Medical Camp
Contract HLT-PO-2025-ZMF-TZA-TZA-001. A 10-person medical team delivered comprehensive healthcare to 3,000 community members across Matemwe North & South, Kigomani, Juga Kuu, Kijini, Kandwi, and Mbuyu Tende in Zanzibar.
Diagnostics, Eye Exams & Free Pharmacy
Services provided on-site included laboratory testing (malaria, diabetes, anaemia, H. pylori, HIV), vision screening for cataracts and glaucoma, dermatological care, gynaecological consultations, and free dispensing of essential medicines.
