Our mission is to expand access to clean and safe water, support education for youth from low-income families, improve madrasas and Islamic learning environments, provide food assistance to vulnerable households, and respond to disasters with fast, effective relief.

Renovations and sponsorships improved learning environments and opened higher-education opportunities, especially for girls and women in STEM. School repairs, sanitation upgrades, and sponsorships increased attendance and long-term prospects.

In the Mkinga District, access to clean water was a daily struggle. Women and girls would walk up to 10km every day, carrying heavy containers, just to get water that was often unsafe to drink. This not only caused health problems but also kept children out of school.
Zaimo Foundation, with the support of our partners, constructed 7 new water wells across the district. These wells now provide clean, safe, and accessible water to thousands of people. The impact has been immediate:
